This role is designed for experienced authorization professionals who demonstrate strong insurance knowledge, leadership potential, and a desire to grow into future Team Lead responsibilities. The Senior Authorization Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for authorization workflows, payer requirements, and authorization strategy. In addition to managing a personal caseload, this individual supports team success by mentoring peers, assisting with training and onboarding, helping identify workflow issues, and providing day-to-day guidance to team members.
