This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients while partnering with internal billing and accounts receivable teams to ensure efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and timely issue resolution. The Account Director plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, identifying process improvements, and driving operational success. Partner with the revenue department to expand the client base and promote organic growth with each account.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Ownership\nServe as the main point of contact for assigned clients\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication\nEnsure client expectations and service deliverables are consistently met\nIdentify and resolve risks and issues, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement\nRevenue Cycle Oversight\nMonitor billing and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely processing and follow-up\nSupport reconciliation of billing, payments, and account balances\nPartner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve outcomes\nOperational Coordination\nManage enterprise billing and AR teams to align priorities and workflows\nBuild and execute efficient work queue management and account assignment\nOwn new provider setup and maintenance as needed\nReporting & Analysis\nPrepare and review reports on billing performance, payments, and AR trends\nAnalyze data to identify issues and implement improvements\nProvide insights to clients and internal leadership\nProcess Improvement\nReview client systems and workflows to identify & solve gaps or inefficiencies\nRecommend and support implementation of process improvements\nHelp drive consistency and operational best practices across accounts\nQualifications\nExperience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare operations\nStrong understanding of billing, claims follow-up, and accounts receivable processes\nExperience working with client systems and internal RCM platforms\nFamiliarity with EHR or practice management systems (e.g., Epic preferred)\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively\nCore Competencies\nClient relationship management\nRevenue cycle knowledge\nProblem-solving and critical thinking\nCommunication and collaboration\nAttention to detail\nProcess improvement mindset\nPay Range\n$100,000—$150,000 USD\nBenefits\nAlteva RCM offers our employees a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, employee assistance plan, paid family leave, short-term disability and life insurance.
