The position will have dual accountability. Inventory accuracy and management deliverables will serve the procurement/accounting teams.\n\nPrimary Duties: \nForecasting parts inventory needs and ordering parts inventory to maintain optimal levels.\nMonitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.\nOversee day-to-day shipping and receiving processes and personnel.\nManage and oversee cycle counting, and inventory accuracy.\nIdentify slow-moving, obsolete, excess, and high-demand inventory and recommend appropriate actions.\nMaintain accurate inventory locations, item information, and stocking parameters within the ERP system.\nEstablish and monitor key inventory metrics including inventory accuracy, inventory turns, stockouts, fill rate, and excess inventory.\nMaintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.\nIdentifying new domestic vendors for directs purchasing programs.\nBecome proficient with the use of our inventory management process and system\nDevelops and maintains inventory databases.\nDrive corrective action for inventory discrepancy resolution.\nRefining analytics, streamlining efficiency, and enforcing discipline.\nCreate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Business reports; key focus areas include Budget & Forecast, On-Time Order Fulfillment and Inventory Tracking.\n\nPosition Requirements:\nMinimum High School or equivalent degree.
