Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience.\n\nResponsibilities:\nOur Construction Equipment Group is looking for a full-time Sales Coordinator to work with our sales team in our Syracuse, NY branch. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in being organized and has great follow-up skills! We are an energetic sales team who sells JCB, Toro, Gradall, and Vibroscreen. The sky is the limit and we want to add great people to our team!\n\nThe primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:\nCoordinate the invoicing process of Construction Equipment in New York\nCreate PO’s and process manufacturer credits\nPurchase extended warranties for new and used sales transactions\nCoordinate with manufacturers on ordering new and used equipment\nCoordinate freight needs for new sales deliveries with the transportation team\nCoordinate service preparations for sales of new equipment and ensure readiness\nWork with finance vendors to process loan paperwork\nManage a Sales Administrator direct report while partnering with the Sales Administrator Manager\nAssist our Accounts Receivable Manager with past due sales invoices\nParticipate in weekly sales calls and update the status of all sales transactions\nAnswer incoming branch phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments\nIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities\nPerform other duties as assigned\nConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time\n\nDesired Skills and Qualifications:\nSales Coordination experience preferred but not required\nWillingness to work in a fast-paced environment\nPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills\nEquipment experience preferred\nWell organized\nWillingness to learn and grow with the business\nWillingness to work with team members to overcome obstacles\nPositive, customer focused attitude\nComputer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. \nLanguage Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nMathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\nReasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
