The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:\nSupervise the operation of the service department\nFoster a positive customer and employee relations atmosphere\nReview & analyze department data meet sales and profit goals\nProcess and review work orders, invoicing and customer quotes\nMonitor employee training progress\nOversee payroll entry and audit for accuracy\nPurchase order acquisition and coordination\nMonitor work in progress\nResponsible for condition of service vehicles and facility\nIncorporates Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time\n\nDesired Skills and Qualifications:\n4-6 years of previous management experience preferred\nGood mechanical aptitude\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nGood customer relations and people skills\nAbility to successfully manage others\nComputer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook\nLanguage Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nReasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nMathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
