Role Overview

The AI Forward Deployment Engineer sits at the intersection of business and technology, helping organisations turn the potential of AI into real, working solutions.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on solving real problems, not just designing concepts. You will work directly with clients to understand their challenges, identify where AI can create value, and deliver solutions that are implemented, integrated, and ready to use.

It is a role for individuals who enjoy owning problems end-to-end - from shaping the idea, through selecting the right tools, to deploying solutions in live environments.

Operating in a fast-evolving space, the role requires the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution, navigate ambiguity, and continuously adapt to new tools and technologies.

Rather than specialising in a single area, you will act as a connector between business needs and technical capabilities, translating complexity into practical outcomes and ensuring that AI delivers measurable impact for clients.

Responsibilities

Business & Consulting Skills

• Ability to structure problems and understand business processes
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients
• Capability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Working knowledge of programming and integrations (e.g. APIs, scripting)

AI & Tooling Awareness

• Familiarity with the AI tooling landscape (e.g. LLMs, automation platforms, RAG frameworks)
• Understanding of capabilities, limitations, and practical use cases of AI solutions

Technical Competence

• Experience in software development, system integration, or technical implementation
• Ability to configure, customise, and deploy systems

Requirements

• Engage with clients to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities for AI adoption
• Analyse business processes and identify areas for optimisation and automation
• Translate business requirements into practical AI-driven solutions
• Select and implement appropriate AI tools and technologies (e.g. LLM-based solutions, RAG architectures, automation tools)
• Configure and integrate AI solutions with existing client systems (APIs, databases, workflows)
• Develop and deliver prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready implementations
• Own and drive defined project streams independently, including direct client interaction
• Collaborate with subject matter experts when deeper technical or domain expertise is required
