They provide operational analysis to allow for optimal business decisions in Distribution Centers. In a fast-paced environment, they find data-driven solutions under tight deadlines while collaborating with DC Operations and Supply Chain Leadership Teams.\n\nResponsibilities\n- Creation of operational reporting and analytics solutions to drive business improvement and operational change.\n- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reporting infrastructure.\n- Build, maintain, and optimize Databricks SQL views and curated datasets to support operational reporting and analytics requirements.\n- Develop and support business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.\n- Provide data support, stewardship, and subject matter expertise for Distribution Centre Operations.\n- Develop a thorough understanding of operational processes, workflows, KPIs, and business objectives.\n- Partner with stakeholders to identify challenges, assess requirements, recommend and develop scalable solutions, including reporting, dashboards, self-service analytics, automation, and process enhancements.\n- Champion data quality, governance, and best practices to ensure reliable, actionable information that supports operational excellence and continuous improvement\n- Carry out detailed root cause analysis and investigation on various Distribution Centre processes, functions, and systems.\n- Conduct benchmark analysis (internal and industry) on tools, processes, and performance measures.\n- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for Distribution Centre key performance indicators.\n- Support Supply Chain leadership decision-making through ad hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations.\n- Evolve reporting and analytics solutions to incorporate AI, automation, and predictive capabilities.\n- Other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including extensive experience building dashboards, data models, visualizations, and reporting solutions using multiple data sources.\n- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to streamline processes, automate workflows, and deliver business solutions.\n- Strong experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, including the creation and maintenance of Databricks SQL views, datasets, and data models for reporting and analytics purposes.\n- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Data Lakes, Hadoop, and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).\n- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize complex issues, organize information effectively, and solve problems efficiently.\n- Strong facilitation skills capable of leading discussions, workshops, and presentations.\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with all levels of the organization.\n- Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects from conception through implementation.\n- Demonstrated experience performing data analysis and providing actionable recommendations to operational and leadership teams.\n- Experience working with large and complex datasets in operational environments.\n- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership across the organization.\n- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python is desirable.\n- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access, and Visio.\n- Experience with AI and advanced analytics tools, including Machine Learning concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), Microsoft Copilot, and Databricks AI capabilities, is considered a strong asset.\n\nWhy Partner with Altis\nIf you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
