We're looking for a Software QA Lead to support a major technology modernization initiative within a large public sector transportation organization in British Columbia.\n\nYou'll lead quality assurance activities for the replacement of a critical cloud-based scheduling, booking and dispatch platform supporting accessible transportation services. Working alongside project managers, technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders, you'll help ensure a smooth implementation that supports reliable, accessible services for the community.\n\nWhat's In It for You\n• Make a meaningful impact on technology that supports accessible public transportation.\n• Work with experienced professionals in a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment.\n• Gain exposure to complex system integrations, vendor management and enterprise transformation.\n• Enjoy a hybrid schedule, convenient transit access and the potential for contract extension.\n\nYour Responsibilities\n• You'll lead QA strategy, test planning, governance, quality gates and reporting throughout the implementation lifecycle.\n• You'll coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end testing across multiple systems and teams.\n• You'll oversee vendor testing activities, validate deliverables and ensure appropriate test coverage, traceability and quality standards.\n• You'll manage defect tracking, risk assessments, test execution and quality metrics while keeping stakeholders informed.\n• You'll collaborate with business, technical, cybersecurity and privacy teams to validate integrations, data quality and operational readiness.\n• You'll support migration readiness, cutover planning, go-live assessments and post-implementation stabilization.\n• You'll identify test automation opportunities and ensure thorough documentation, knowledge transfer and QA sign-offs.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n• 7+ years of software QA and testing experience, including 3+ years in a QA Lead, Test Lead or QA Architect role.\n• Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP, HCM, HRIS, payroll, workforce management or enterprise application implementations, ideally within organizations of 5,000+ employees.\n• Experience with enterprise HR platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG or comparable systems.\n• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including SIT, UAT and end-to-end testing.\n• Experience overseeing vendor testing deliverables, test automation frameworks and tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/Quality Center or qTest.\n• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience navigating complex enterprise environments. Public sector or transportation experience is an asset.\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
