This role requires an individual fluent in English and added bonus if they can speak Canadian French. They will be responsible for initiating, managing and expanding business with existing client base and strategic new accounts, while collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets. This role can sit anywhere in the east region of the United States or Canada and is remote with up to 70% travel.Essential Functions - Roles/Responsibilities\nBuild relationships with customers and prospects to form strategic partnerships through sustainable packaging solutions.\nDevelop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and transpose leads, reports, and projects into the CRM for maximum Altium exposure.\nStrive for maximum close ratios on projects (50% +)\nDevelop better understanding of machine loads and open machines capacity for plants within the network.\nAttend relevant trade shows as required\nDevelop new and niche opportunities where Altium is first or second to market, to maximize margin growth.\nLead the industry with new and innovative packaging solution ideas and implementation.\nMaximize contract renewals and negotiate contracts for all new and existing customers\nSupport customer service and mentor when required.\nContinue to research market trends and offer suggestions on how to maximize sales efforts\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\nMinimum 3-5 years of technical sales experience with a proven track record in a complex sales environment.\nBachelor degree required.\nAbility to create key account plans and execute against them, heavy cold calling experience\nCompetitive mentality - must enjoy the thrill of pursuing business and closing new accounts.\nStrong communication skills and excellent organizational skills.\nAbility to work well independently, energetic self-starter with strong work ethic.\nTeam player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others during development and implementation of processes and programs.\nTravel up to 70% to visit accounts and prospects accordingly.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nProficiency in Canadian French\nAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!\n\nWe incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
