This position ensures material quality, production efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate documentation throughout the recycling process.Set up, start up, operate, and shut down recycling extruders according to standard operating procedures.\nMonitor temperatures, pressures, melt quality, throughput rates, and pellet quality.\nMake process adjustments to maintain production and quality targets.\nPerform material changeovers and startup purges.\nInspect pellets and finished products for quality defects.\nRecord production data, downtime, quality checks, and material usage.\nVerify incoming material meets processing requirements.\nConduct routine quality checks and document results.\nSegregate non-conforming material and notify supervision.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts to reduce contamination and waste.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nUtilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety footwear.\nFollow Lockout/Tagout procedures before servicing equipment.\nReport unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); associate’s degree, preferred\n1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related areaAbility to recommend process improvements\nCommitment to safe work practices\nSolid English language skills\nDesire to learn\nApprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty, preferred\nPreferred:\nAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!\n\nWe incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
