As we continue to grow, we need talented and experienced people, just like you, to serve as Production Machine Operators. In this role, you will operate a variety of production equipment, including blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. You will need a strong background in operating equipment.Responsibilities:\nOperating blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles\n\nPerforming audits, weights, and quality checks\n\nAdhering to quality control, blow mold process procedure, and Good Manufacturing Practices\n\nMaking adjustments to meet product specifications\n\nRepairing or replacing pneumatic and hydraulic lines\n\nAssisting with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin, and other mechanical changes\n\nGrinding excess bottle and material\n\nTroubleshooting and resolve process problems\n\nPreparing maintenance request forms and documenting equipment repairs\n\nPreparing and documenting daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies\n\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n3 years’ experience as a machine operator\n\n2 years' experience as an extruder operator, preferred\n\nWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery & measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills\n\nBasic English & Math skills\n\nMachine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience\n\nAbility to read blueprints, schematics and manuals\n\nAbility to work overtime\n\nPhysical stamina and strength/able to stand for long periods of time\n\nTRAINING:\nCompletion of Altium Machine Operator 1 training within 90-days of hire date\n\nMust be able to train on days, if needed\n\nBENEFITS:\nCompetitive Hourly Rate\n\nMedical, Dental & Vision\n\nHoliday/Vacation Pay\n\n401K with Company Contribution\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nLearning & Training Opportunities\n\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
