You'll operate advanced blow molding equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and help ensure our customers receive products that meet the highest quality standards.\nThis is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, continuous learning, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.\nWhat You'll Do\nProduction & Equipment Operation\nOperate blow molding machines, along with grinders, trimmers, and conveyor systems.\nMonitor machine performance to ensure efficient production of quality products.\nMake machine and process adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.\nPerform routine bottle inspections, including drop tests and other quality evaluations.\nMonitor packaging materials and replenish supplies as needed.\nMove finished products to designated storage or staging areas.\nEnsure products are properly labeled, packaged, and prepared according to customer requirements.\nQuality Assurance\nConduct quality checks, audits, and weight verifications throughout the production process.\nInspect products during production, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nImmediately report any product defects, abnormalities, or quality concerns.\nFollow established manufacturing procedures and quality control protocols.\nTroubleshooting & Equipment Care\nTroubleshoot process issues and assist in resolving production challenges.\nPerform minor maintenance and repairs on molding and support equipment.\nSupport preventive maintenance activities, including mold, neck, blow pin, and other mechanical changeovers.\nComplete maintenance requests and document equipment repairs as needed.\nSafety & Teamwork\nFollow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area.\nWork collaboratively with team members across departments to achieve production goals.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.\nDemonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a positive team-first attitude.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBasic math skills.\nBasic computer proficiency.\nExperience operating blow mold equipment.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nPrevious manufacturing or production experience.\nMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nTraining\nSuccessful completion of company Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.\nFrequent use of hands for handling, grasping, reaching, and operating equipment.\nAbility to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nAbility to frequently lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment.\nNoise levels may be high; appropriate PPE is required.\nTemperatures may vary throughout the year due to seasonal conditions.\nSafety equipment must be worn in designated production areas.\nAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!\n\nWe incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
