Provide manufacturing-process training and on-site technical support and contribute to cross-functional innovation investment planning.Essential Functions - Roles/Responsibilities\nLead manufacturing processing trials in Altium locations and at suppliers, customers, and partners.\nPlan and carry out experiments and provide data analysis to define the limitations and value of new materials, products, and processes.\nEvaluate machinery and process prior to trials, and direct necessary corrective actions.\nContribute expertise to the development of new products, materials, and processes from ideation, pilot trials, proof of manufacturing at scale, through commercialization hand-off.\nProvide training on manufacturing processes including EBM, ISBM, injection molding, injection blow molding, labeling, decoration, and assembly.\nContribute ideas to regular forum that brings together marketing, internal services, and BU leadership with internal and external resources to develop long and short-term innovation investments for Altium to ensure a growing, increasingly profitable, sustainable organization for the shareholders.\nProvide on-site technical support to existing processes as needed.\nSupport and execute testing at Altium Performance Lab as needed\nAct according to safety standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations\nFoster a Culture in which all Company employees share common purpose & comply with applicable laws & our Guiding Principles\nOversee and direct outsourced projects, including experiments and trials at 3rd parties\nMaintain confidentiality of trade-secrets and intellectual property\nSupport commercialization team in scale-up to production\nSupport existing products and processes\nDevelop standard procedures and instruct operators\nDevelop resolution to routine technical problems and execute solutions within developed timelines\nParticipate in reviews of product designs and mold designs for assigned projects\nTake responsibility for own personal and professional growth; actively participate in internal departmental activities; participate in project reviews and department meetings\nAccomplish related tasks as needed\nOther duties as assigned by supervisor\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\nRequired Education and Experience\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations or 4-year degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology\nMinimum 5 years’ experience with extrusion blow molding\nExcellent analytical and math skills\nProven ability to run experimental processes, gather data, and evaluate results\nProficient with computers and information technology\nTravel Requirements\nAbility to travel up to 80%\nAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!\n\nWe incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
