All activities must be performed according to corporate and plant safety standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as issued by regulatory agencies.Installing, adjusting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production and all related equipment\nPerforming mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes\nInspecting and replacing pneumatic and hydraulic hoses\nInspecting, rebuilding, and replacing valves and pumps\nMaintaining machines in optimal processing condition\nWelding, fabricating, and repairing various machines\nTroubleshooting, locating root problems, and performing repairs\nOperating production machines as needed\nPerforming additional duties as assigned by management\nReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nStrong mechanical and electrical skills\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to recommend process improvements\nCommitment to safe work practices\nSolid English language and reading skills\nPreferred:\nBasic computer and email skills; familiarity with Word and Excel, a plus\nPLC experience, a plus\nCurrent OSHA forklift certification, a plus\nRelated experience in the food industry, a plus\nMechanical experience on small engines, cars, or farm equipment, a plus\nAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!\n\nWe incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
