Together, we have the shared vision, advanced capabilities and talented teams to deliver next-generation solutions that patients and healthcare partners need today and into the future.\nJob Description\nAccelerate your career as you:\nLead inventory control programs across pharmacy operations, including physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.\n\nAnalyze inventory data to identify root causes and reduce adjustments, write-offs, expired products, excess inventory, and shrink.\nEstablish standardized processes for receiving, put-away, inventory movement, dispensing, returns, transfers, quarantine, and disposition.\nMonitor inventory accuracy, days on hand, inventory turns, expirations, and other key performance indicators.\nBuild dashboards and reports that highlight inventory risks, trends, and exceptions.\nSupport DSCSA requirements, including product traceability, transaction documentation, product verification, record retention, and suspect-product investigations.\nPartner with Pharmacy Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, Data, Product, and Engineering to strengthen inventory controls.\nDevelop standard operating procedures and training materials for inventory processes.\nImprove inventory systems and automate manual controls and reporting.\nLead and train inventory team members while establishing clear performance measures.\nSupport audits, new pharmacy locations, system implementations, and operational expansions.\nAbout you:\nYou are an inventory management professional who knows how to turn data into practical process improvements. You have hands-on experience investigating discrepancies, building inventory controls, and improving accuracy in complex operations. You understand how inventory integrity affects financial performance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.\nStrong experience working with WMS, preferably Tecsys \nExperience managing inventory within pharmacy operations, supply chain, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or a related environment.\nExperience leading physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.\nAbility to perform root-cause analysis using inventory transactions, operational data, and process documentation.\nWorking knowledge of inventory control methods, including cycle-count programs, adjustment controls, inventory aging, and loss prevention.\nExperience using inventory management, warehouse management, enterprise resource planning, or similar systems.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data analysis.\nExperience with SQL, Looker, Net Suite or Power BI\nExperience creating inventory reports, dashboards, or performance metrics.\nExperience developing and implementing standard operating procedures and inventory controls.\nExperience training employees on inventory systems, procedures, and compliance requirements.\nExperience managing or supervising inventory-related work and measuring team performance.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience managing pharmaceutical or healthcare inventory.\nWorking knowledge of Drug Supply Chain Security Act requirements and pharmaceutical product-traceability processes.\nExperience supporting regulatory audits, inventory compliance reviews, or corrective and preventive action plans.\nExperience with product verification, quarantine, returns, recalls, suspect-product investigations, or pharmaceutical inventory disposition.\nExperience implementing inventory systems, reporting tools, workflow automation, or other inventory technology improvements.\nExperience supporting inventory operations across multiple locations.\nExperience using SQL, business intelligence tools, or data-visualization platforms.\nAdditional Information\nPhysical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds.
