TL;DR

As our Part-time Multimedia Designer, you'll bring ideas to life across digital and visual channels. You'll turn concepts into eye-catching visuals, create brand-aligned assets, and carry content from idea to publication - in static, in motion, and on video. This is a hands-on role where design meets storytelling - ideal for a creatively driven self-starter with strong graphic and motion design skills, a flair for branding, the ability to edit video, and the nerve to push our design somewhere more experimental.

The Role And Your Challenge

Altura is scaling fast, and our need for high-quality content is growing with it. With new campaigns, product launches, and markets, we need to deliver clear, engaging, and visually stunning experiences, fast.

As Jr. Graphic Design & Content Specialist, you'll work across the entire marketing team to deliver best-in-class visual content. From web illustrations and animations to paid ads and social media content - you'll help shape how the world sees Altura.

Content is a growing part of that, and increasingly it moves. We want more visual product videos, more dynamic content featuring our Account Executives, and ads that don't sit still - in Dutch as well as English. So alongside your design work, you'll be editing video yourself.

We're also looking for someone who doesn't wait for a brief. Keep an eye on what the fastest-growing SaaS brands are doing, come to us with proposals, and help us get more experimental and more challenging in our design. You'll have the room to run with that.

This is a part-time role with high creative ownership and strong execution focus. You'll use both your design skills and AI tools to create, iterate, and elevate our brand presence across channels.

You Will

• Visual Content Creation: Design and produce a wide range of compelling visual content - graphics, animations, illustrations, infographics, layouts, templates, and social media creatives.

• Video & Motion: Shoot and edit video - product videos that show the platform in action, dynamic on-camera content with our Account Executives, and animated ads for paid and social. In both Dutch and English.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders across marketing domains - to develop brand-aligned creative assets that enhance conversion, boost engagement, and deliver a clear, consistent brand message across all touchpoints.

• Content Execution & Delivery: Own the end-to-end execution of content - from owning our organic LinkedIn presence (concept, creative, copy, and publishing) to writing copy for blogs, websites, and whitepapers. You'll also build out and maintain our template library, so the whole team can produce on-brand assets fast. By blending your visual design skills, sense for compelling copy, and the smart use of AI tools, you ensure content is consistently delivered and assets are pushed over the finish line on time. (Paid campaigns stay with the marketing team; you make the creative that powers them.)

• AI-Powered Production: Leverage advanced AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, and ChatGPT to streamline creative production, generate first-draft copy, ideate new concepts, and bring content to life with speed and consistency.

• Evolving the Brand - Proactively: Continuously refine and evolve Altura's visual identity by creating high-impact visuals that stay true to our brand guidelines and push creative boundaries. Benchmark us against fast-growing SaaS brands, bring proposals we didn't ask for, and take our design somewhere more experimental. Your work doesn't just reinforce our brand - it moves it forward.

You Have

• Strong foundation in graphic design, layout, typography, and branding.

• Working knowledge of motion design, animation, and visual storytelling.

• Comfortable editing video. You can turn raw footage into something people actually watch - Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci, CapCut, or whatever gets you there.

• Fluent Dutch and English. A meaningful part of our content is Dutch, so you need to hear when a Dutch voice-over, subtitle, or line of copy lands right.

• Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and AI design tools.

• A point of view. You follow what other brands are doing, form opinions about it, and bring ideas instead of waiting for instructions.

• An eye for quality and a sense of ownership - you take pride in your work and iterate fast.

• Ability to write or refine copy using AI tools - ads, banners, social media, whitepapers and basic landing page text.

• Bonus: product or UI design skills, familiarity with B2B SaaS, web design, or conversion-focused content.

You Should Apply If

• You're resourceful, flexible, and can manage your time independently. If you want creative freedom and fast feedback loops, this is the place.

You Should Not Apply If

• You'd rather stay in static design only. Video and content are part of the mix here, and you'll be expected to pick up an edit.

• You want every design brief to be highly detailed and final. At Altura, we expect you to bring creative initiative and iterate quickly.

• You prefer long, drawn-out feedback cycles and perfectionism. If you're not comfortable delivering "good enough" versions fast and improving from there, this might not be a fit.

• You aren't comfortable learning and using AI tools for design or copywriting.
