The range does not include additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, benefits, or other incentives.\nAn exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and ambitiousAssociate Quantity Surveyor to be part of the management of Altus Group Development Advisory division in ourSydney office.\nReporting to the Director, as an Associate you will provide professional quantity surveying services to new and existing clients, as well as lead and manage a team in the provision of deliverables. The role provides the opportunity to work on numerous projects various in size, across a range of sectors, with a core focus inpublic education, health, commercial and residential markets.\nThe Associate will drive the Business Unit's goals, be confident in Business Development and show a strong desire to mentor junior employees.\nJob Responsibilities:\nMeet and exceed the established performance goals including client deliverables and financial performance.\n\nAssist Associate Director in fee forecasting, budgeting and general reporting.\n\nAssisting in the preparation of submissions.\n\nDevelop and maintain client relationships and manage expectations.\n\nEffectively manage the delivery of projects within budget and to deadline.\n\nContribute to business development opportunities.\n\nWork cooperatively with peers and teams across the organisation to facilitate information sharing, cross selling and expansion of service offerings to clients.\n\nProvide leadership, mentoring and motivation to the staff.\n\nMaintain a working environment based on respect, trust and open communication that supports corporate values.\n\nAssist in the operational running and management tasks of the Business Unit as required.\n\nJob Requirements:\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management\n\nMinimum 7 years industry experience\n\nIn depth knowledge and accreditation in Quantity Surveying;\n\nMembership in an approved Professional Body\n\nProfessional membership with AIQS or RICS required\n\nKnowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors\n\nSelf-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;\n\nAbility to coach, develop and mentor peers\n\nFocused on delivering high levels of quality with respect to work and service to clients\n\nAustralian citizens and permanent residents only\n\nAs a team member you will have an opportunity to learn from our leadership group and work alongside experts in the field.\nAt Altus Group we work together to achieve outcomes that are positive for our clients, our customers and our team.
