We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our purchasing processes, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services necessary for our operations. \nThe role is all about managing the procurement of services and equipment to meet both our current and future company needs in the most effective and budget-friendly ways. You'll be applying procurement regulations along with other relevant policies and guidelines to make it all happen!\nAdditionally, the role includes overseeing the company's vehicle fleet management platform and coordinating the allocation and availability of pool cars based on daily operational needs.\n\nResponsibilitiesEvaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.\nMonitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.\nSupport the senior buyers in developing purchasing strategies and policies.\nExplores the market to identify potential new suppliers and recommends innovative partnerships, all with the goal of enhancing the company's competitive edge.\nNegotiates and agrees on the terms of cooperation with each supplier, manages annual cooperation contracts in accordance with the company's policy and supervises their implementation. \nEvaluates and prioritizes Purchase Requests, conducts market research, compares various offers, chooses the ideal supplier, prepares and issues the Purchase Order, and ensures the seamless delivery of goods and services.\nEnsures and updates the ERP so that the delivery times of purchase orders are reliable. \nEvaluates potential or existing suppliers at periodic intervals, based on an approved evaluation process. \nOversees and delegates the payment responsibilities to the cashier for our suppliers.\nTakes charge of resolving issues that come up, such as claims, returns, and recommendations, while coordinating and supervising the execution of the agreed-upon solutions.\nManages and updates the company's vehicle fleet platform, assigns and distributes the pool cars according to daily needs.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Ecomonics, Business Administration or a related field.\nExperience in procurement or purchasing will be highly considered.\nΑttention to detail.\nGood communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nPrior experience in ERP systems will be considered a plus.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nFluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.\n\nBenefits\n\nProvision of private life & health insurance\nBonus according to performance\nContinuous learning and support\nΤraining plan based on the employee’s needs\nWorking tools according to the position\n\nALUMIL opposes any form of discrimination, unequal behaviour or treatment, and any violation of human rights, and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities in employment.
