This position is responsible for the reliability, security, integration, and lifecycle management of operational data platforms and infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support the AVEVA PI System, including data archives, interfaces, integrations, and system performance.\nAdminister and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments and production databases supporting operational systems.\nSupport and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure hosting mission-critical systems\nSupport Splunk administration, including data onboarding, alerting, reporting, and dashboard development.\nDevelop and maintain API integrations and automation solutions using Python and PowerShell.\nMonitor system health, performance, availability, and data integrity across OT environments.\nSupport OT cybersecurity requirements through logging, monitoring, threat detection, and coordination with Cyber Security teams.\nLead or support system upgrades, patching, migrations, and technology lifecycle management initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing recommendations to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Cyber Security, and OT personnel to support critical business and operational objectives.\nShare technical knowledge and mentor less experienced engineers and support personnel.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nAVEVA PI System administration and integration\nMicrosoft SQL Server administration and database support\nSplunk administration, monitoring, and dashboard development\nPython and PowerShell scripting\nWindows and Linux server administration\nOT systems architecture and industrial data systems\nSystem integration, automation, and performance optimization\nOT cybersecurity principles and monitoring practices\nRoot cause analysis and troubleshooting\nTechnical documentation and change management\nProject planning and execution\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nMinimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet or exceed these minimum job requirements to apply for this position.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.\nTwo (2) or more years of experience supporting OT, industrial control systems, data historians, operational databases, or critical infrastructure environments.\nExperience with one or more of the following technologies: AVEVA PI System, Microsoft SQL Server, Splunk, Windows and Linux server administration, Python or PowerShell scripting.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in pipeline, energy, oil and gas, or critical infrastructure operations.\nExperience supporting the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) or comparable industrial facilities.\nExperience with OT cybersecurity and industrial data integration technologies.\nWork Location: Anchorage\nSchedule: This is a regular exempt Anchorage based position on an urban schedule of a 40-hour week or 9/80-work schedule.\nBand: K-M\nBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one; FSA; eligible to participate in 401(k) on day one, with 7% company match after one year; pension eligibility starting day one, with 1-year vesting; annual bonus potential; wellness reimbursement; EAP; paid parental leave; educational assistance; vacation and sick leave.\nALYESKA MINDSETS:\nBelieve In Zero: We believe zero is far from nothing.
