The focus is on ensuring reliability, stability and quality of backend services and related workflows through automated testing practices.\nPlease note that this role operates on a hybrid basis, with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's North Dublin office three times per week.\nKey responsibilities & duties include:\nDesign, develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend applications and services\nBuild and execute Selenium-based automated test suites\nValidate backend functionality, APIs, integrations and system workflows\nIdentify, document and track defects found during automated testing\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable\nCollaborate with developers, QA engineers and product teams to improve test coverage and quality standards\nMaintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities\nAnalyse test results and provide clear reporting on system quality and regression status\nRequired Experience:\nStrong experience with Selenium test automation\nExperience in backend testing and automation methodologies\nUnderstanding of API and service-layer testing\nFamiliarity with automation frameworks and test design patterns\nExperience working with CI/CD environments and automated deployments\nKnowledge of defect tracking and test management tools\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and QA best practices\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience with Java, Python or similar automation languages\nExperience with REST API testing tools/frameworks\nFamiliarity with databases and backend data validation\nExperience with Git/version control systems\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery environments\nWhat’s in it for you: \nAn opportunity to join a fast-growing company \nOptions for career advancement \nLearning and development opportunities \nFlexible working environment\nCompetitive salaries based on experience \nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nAmach is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
