You will work closely with the customer's technical teams and stakeholders to design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform, combining strategic leadership with direct technical contribution. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to drive DevOps excellence and innovation within a dynamic aviation software environment.\nKey responsibilities & duties include:\nLead and mentor a small DevOps team embedded with the customer, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement\nDesign, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure and Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code solutions that support the customer's mission-critical systems\nCollaborate with the customer's stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, plan deployments and ensure alignment with business objectives\nContribute hands-on to infrastructure projects, deployment pipelines and operational tasks alongside your team\nDrive best practices around infrastructure automation, monitoring, security and disaster recovery across the customer's platforms\nManage communication with the customer's stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks and recommendations\nIdentify and implement improvements to the customer's DevOps processes, tooling and infrastructure efficiency\nRequired Experience:\n5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with demonstrated leadership of technical teams\nStrong proficiency with AWS services and hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nExperience working in customer-facing or embedded roles within technical teams\nSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud-native application deployment\nNice to have:\nExperience in the aviation, travel or highly regulated industries\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms\nKnowledge of data pipeline and AI infrastructure considerations\nWhat’s in it for you: \nAn opportunity to join a fast-growing company \nOptions for career advancement \nLearning and development opportunities \nFlexible working environment\nCompetitive salaries based on experience \nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nAmach is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
