Supporting the evolution of our customer's infrastructure, you will influence the design and strategic direction of the technology roadmap and cloud adoption. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS and Terraform.\nRequired Experience:\nExperience with cloud and cloud migration in AWS\nExperienced with automation tools and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, YAML, python)\nDemonstrable experience managing, troubleshooting and tuning Linux and Windows systems\nStrong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills\nLinux and Windows configuration, management, optimisation and administration\nStrong knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell)\nExperience with Virtualisation, Containerisation and related provisioning tools (ESXi, vCenter, Docker)\nUnderstanding of agile software development, continuous deployment and DevOps culture\nCI/CD and Version control (Jenkins, GIT)\nA good understanding of TCP/IP networking and networking tools such as DNS, tcpdump and radius\nExperience in automated test coverage, code quality checks (lint) and software metric generation\nWorking with Internet technologies such as Firewalls, Load Balancing, Proxies and service clustering\nExperience with distributed service monitoring (SNMP, Shinken/Nagios)\nExperience with modern database systems (MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB)\nExtensive experience in security hardening servers and network equipment, including certificate management\nExcellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time\nFluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills\nKey responsibilities & duties include:\nManage an international, multi-site production infrastructure powering our customer's services, including design, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning and security\nAdminister Infrastructure services and Operational Support Systems (OSS)\nMaintain a highly available, resilient environment, patching and upgrading software regularly\nFormalise designs, configurations and procedures for system and storage administration\nIdentify system incidents and problems.
