The role combines deep technical expertise in modern workplace and endpoint management with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, deliver projects on time and within budget, and foster collaboration across departments. The team supports an estate of more than 2,000 laptops, 3,000 iPhones and around 700 Android devices, all managed in Microsoft Intune.\nThis is a project-focused team rather than a service desk. You'll be the first point of contact when the business needs something delivered, whether that's a new application rollout, an office move or a fleet-wide OS upgrade. Recent projects include fitting out a new head office with nearly 500 workstations and upgrading the laptop estate to a supported version of Windows.\nPlease note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office three times per week.\nRequired Skills:\n8+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, cloud or systems engineering roles\nProven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams\nStrong hands-on experience across all aspects of Microsoft Intune, including Windows Autopilot, compliance policies, enrolment and app deployment\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365\nExperience with modern workplace solutions such as Citrix and VMware\nExperience leading end-user computing (EUC) projects from scoping to rollout, ideally across large laptop and mobile estates\nExperience leading projects in an Agile environment as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, using Jira or similar\nExcellent technical writing and documentation skills, including business requirements, system architecture and migration plans\nStrong Excel and reporting skills\nOutstanding communication skills, with the confidence to report to senior leadership and work across teams and with vendors\nKey Responsibilities and Duties include:\nManage and mentor a team of engineers (typically 1-3, scaling up to around 6 with contractors for large projects), fostering professional growth and providing structure and direction\nOversee daily operations, including task prioritisation, performance reviews and resource allocation\nAct as the first point of contact for business areas requesting EUX projects\nScope new projects: gather business requirements, confirm funding is approved, estimate effort in person-days and present costings for sign-off\nBreak business requirements down into technical tasks and run sprint planning and execution in Jira\nTake projects through the change board and oversee end-to-end delivery, including physical rollout to devices, automation and data migrations\nCollaborate with system architects, project managers, service delivery managers, sponsors and third-party vendors\nMonitor progress, mitigate risks and tackle blockers promptly, setting clear expectations with stakeholders\nCompile weekly project status reports for management and senior leadership\nAnswer technical and reporting queries from the business, for example device and OS version breakdowns from Intune\nLook for opportunities to streamline and automate work, including using AI tools and agents\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertifications in Microsoft endpoint management, cloud infrastructure, ITIL or related fields\nExperience with Conditional Access policies\nScripting experience (PowerShell or Python) and familiarity with system monitoring tools\nKnowledge of compliance frameworks and quality assurance processes\nPower BI and PowerPoint for reporting and presenting to stakeholders\nInterest in using AI tools and agents to streamline processes\nExperience in aviation or another large, regulated organisation\nWhat’s in it for you: \nAn opportunity to join a fast-growing company \nOptions for career advancement \nLearning and development opportunities \nFlexible working environment\nCompetitive salaries based on experience \nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nAmach is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
