This role shapes UX strategy, aligns research and design practices, supports the growth of UX maturity, and fosters effective collaboration with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting team performance, professional growth, and long-term capability development in alignment with user and business needs.\nMain Responsibilities\nUX Design & Strategy\nProvide strategic direction, constructive critique, and quality oversight to support high-quality design outcomes.\nEnsure alignment with user experience (UX) principles, accessibility standards, and the design system.\nInfluence product scope and prioritization using research insights, data, and design frameworks.\nProject & Stakeholder Collaboration\nPromote early UX involvement across the full product lifecycle.\nIdentify and plan for resource needs in alignment with product roadmaps and domain priorities.\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, leadership, and customers to contribute to product direction and experience outcomes.\nUX Research\nDefine and align on research strategy, guide methodologies, and ensure insights are actionable and credible.\nIncrease visibility and understanding of UX research across product teams and leadership.\nTeam Development & Coaching\nEncourage continuous learning, adaptability, and development within the team.\nEstablish shared expectations, role clarity, and career paths for team members.\nProvide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback through regular one-to-one discussions.\nSupport the development of competencies in research, design, communication, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.\nDelegate thoughtfully and create opportunities for designers and researchers to take ownership of initiatives.\nThe Ideal Candidate\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Interaction Design, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Information Design, Computer Science, Business or Management, or a related field.\nExperience in User Experience, combining design, research, and cross-functional delivery.\nExperience guiding UX teams, including designers, researchers, writers, or design operations.\nDemonstrated experience contributing UX leadership in complex software-as-a-service (SaaS) environments, including business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), or enterprise workflows.\nExperience designing for multi-platform ecosystems such as web, mobile, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms (e.g., Salesforce), or operational tools.\nExperience collaborating with product, engineering, and business partners to influence strategy and roadmaps.\nSkills & Competencies\nAdvanced interaction and systems design skills, with experience using Figma or equivalent design tools.\nSolid understanding of information architecture, prototyping, usability testing, and accessibility best practices.\nClear and effective communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.\nAbility to work through ambiguity and engage senior stakeholders constructively.\nUnderstanding of design systems and how to scale user experiences across products.\nCollaborative approach and ability to work across geographies and disciplines.\nClear ownership and accountability.\nDiversity & Inclusion\nAmadeus aspires to be a leader in Diversity and Inclusion in the tech industry, enabling every employee to reach their full potential by fostering a culture of belonging and fair treatment, attracting the best talent from all backgrounds, and as a role model for an inclusive employee experience.\nAmadeus is an equal opportunity employer and committed to an accessible recruitment process.
