We aim to create, develop, provide & support tailor-made applications that suit the diverse requirements of our various customer groups.\nSummary of the role:\nWe are looking for Senior QA Engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. This role involves preventing production errors that lead to product defects and thoroughly testing products before their release.\nQA ensures that a product or service meets the necessary quality standards for delivery and market suitability.\nBe a part of an international and multicultural QA team located worldwide, dedicated to developing and enforcing tools, methods, and quality assurance standards.\nIn this role you’ll:\nAttend specification/architecture reviews (also on customer specification reviews when applicable), and provide feedback along with any potential impact, risk, issue or missed gap based on experience. \nDefine test strategy and test plan containing test cases (functional and non-functional), ensure traceability with specifications and customer requirements. \nDesign test cases and write test case scripts. \nPrepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases. \n Provide sign-off (go/no-go) on tested features based on defined exit criteria.\nContinuously assess the need to add/update/remove test cases to existing regression when new product features are delivered and based on metrics (stabilization, deletion of flaky tests...).\nAs part of maintenance activities, deep dive into customers IRs, test the fixes, and enrich test suites accordingly. \nAssess necessity to automate subsets of test scripts. \n Automate test cases using test automation framework. \n Contribute to test automation framework improvement.\n Provide reporting \n Open defects for software or documentation, assign relevant level of severity based on the importance of the issue, provide relevant investigation and information to fix defects. \nCheck defect fix, and give go/no-go for the load of production defect.\n Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts. \n Provide visibility on testing campaign/milestones to all stakeholders. \nProvide mentoring and adapted support to newcomers. \nProvide adapted support to QAE peers based on experience. \nShare knowledge on a specific topic (technical/functional) and spread it among the QA community as well as other stakeholders. \n Show accountability for the project, product or release quality control. \nPropagate quality assurance best practices based on highest standards in relevant teams and quality communities. \nBe a force of proposition for improvement of existing ones, or development of new ones. \nBe proactive about any issue/change that is likely to affect QA peers daily job. \nBe a driving force behind proposals to improve current quality processes in a constantly evolving development lifecycle framework. \nParticipate in the understanding, measurement and reduction of the environmental impact of the tested applications and associated QA activities. \nAbout the ideal candidate:\nEducation University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in QA or development. \nAutomation frameworks practical knowledge (Robot Framework, Playwright) \nProgramming skills: Python, TypeScript, Java, JS \nTest management tools knowledge (Ex: Octane) \nGitHub repository knowledge \nBDD practices knowledge \nVisual Studio on the .Net framework knowledge \nFluent in English, both written and spoken. \nFunctional Skills Experience in an agile methodology. \nGood understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards \nPersonal Skills:\nCuriosity, willing to go deeper in the tests. \nWillingness to learn new tools and techniques. \nAnalytical and conceptual thinking. \nAccountability, flexibility, and proactivity. \nTeam playing. \nGood communication and influencing skills.\nAutonomous \nWhat we can offer you:\nGet rewarded with competitive remuneration, individual and company annual bonus, vacation and holiday paid time off, health insurances and other competitive benefits.\nWork hybrid at our Bogota office. \nProfessional development to broaden your knowledge and enhance your skills with on-line learning hubs packed with technical and soft skills training that allow you to develop and grow.\nEnter a diverse and inclusive workplace, join one of the world’s top travel technology companies and take on a role that impacts millions of travelers around the globe.\nApplication process:\nThe application process takes no longer than 10 minutes!\nCreate your candidate profile, upload your Resume/CV and apply today!\nWorking at Amadeus, you will find:\nA critical mission and purpose -
