The role includes developing innovative desserts and baked goods, maintaining food safety and cost efficiency, and leading the pastry team to deliver memorable guest experiences.\nResponsibilities\nOversee daily pastry and bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality, taste, presentation, and timely production.\nCreate and develop innovative desserts, pastries, breads, and seasonal menus that reflect Amanoi's culinary standards and guest preferences.\nMaintain the highest standards of food hygiene, sanitation, safety, and compliance with HACCP and resort policies.\nEnsure proper food preparation, portion control, storage, inventory management, and waste reduction to optimize food costs.\nSupervise, train, coach, and motivate pastry team members to enhance their technical skills, creativity, and performance.\nMonitor the quality of ingredients and finished products, ensuring freshness, consistency, and exceptional presentation.\nCoordinate with the Executive Chef and other culinary teams to support daily operations, special events, and personalized guest requests.\nManage pastry supplies, equipment, and stock levels while maintaining productivity and operating within approved budgets.\nFoster a positive, collaborative working environment through effective communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure exceptional guest satisfaction by accommodating dietary requirements, special occasions, and personalized culinary experiences.\nRequirements\nDiploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Bakery, or a related field.\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant pastry experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.\nStrong knowledge of international pastry techniques, artisan breads, chocolate work, desserts, and contemporary presentation.\nProven ability to develop creative menus while maintaining consistent quality and cost efficiency.\nGood understanding of HACCP, food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and team development skills.\nAbility to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.\nGuest-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering personalized luxury dining experiences.\nGood command of English for kitchen communication and coordination.\nFlexible, proactive, creative, and committed to Amanoi's service philosophy and standards.\nBenefits\nAt Aman Group, we believe that our colleagues are at the core of our success.
