Based at the group’s first dedicated learning centre near Amanpuri in Phuket, Thailand, the role will play a key part in developing, facilitating and continuously enhancing training programmes that build capability across Aman Group’s global portfolio.\nReporting to the Director of Aman Academy, the Training Manager serves as the Academy’s lead learning professional, working closely with corporate leaders, property teams and external partners to deliver impactful learning experiences. The role combines curriculum development, facilitation, programme management and stakeholder engagement, making it ideally suited to an experienced hospitality Learning & Development professional with strong operational credibility. The role will initially be based in Bangkok and relocate to Phuket ahead of the Academy opening in 2027.\nResponsibilities\nFacilitate and co-facilitate Academy programmes across operational, leadership and service excellence topics\nDevelop, enhance and maintain learning content, curriculum pathways and participant materials\nPartner with corporate and operational leaders to deliver impactful learning experiences\nCoordinate onboarding and learning programmes for Aman at Sea colleagues\nSupport pre-opening immersion programmes and operational training initiatives\nManage relationships with facilitators, trainers and certification partners\nMonitor programme effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives\nOversee learning operations, participant communications and programme reporting\nSupport Academy pre-opening activities, including learning systems, programme planning and operational readiness\nAct as an ambassador for the Aman and Janu culture and learning philosophy\nRequirements\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience in L&D within luxury hospitality\nStrong facilitation and classroom delivery experience\nExperience designing and implementing learning programmes\nStrong operational understanding of hotel environments\nProven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions\nExperience working with leadership development, onboarding or operational training programmes preferred\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nProficiency in English is required; proficiency in Thai is considered an advantage\nWillingness to relocate to Phuket and be based full-time at the Academy\nBenefits\nAt Aman Group, we believe that our colleagues are at the core of our success.
