Responsibilities\nResponsible for day-to-day operation of the Aluminium Extrusion Press and auxiliary equipment.\nEnsure proper die setup, billet loading, extrusion parameters and profile handling as per production requirements.\nMonitor billet alloy, temperature and extrusion process parameters and take corrective action when required.\nMonitor daily production output, productivity and minimize machine downtime.\nEnsure production is carried out as per the daily production plan and schedule.\nInspect extruded profiles for dimensions, surface quality, straightness and other customer requirements.\nCoordinate with Quality for quality inspection and rejection control.\nEnsure compliance with ISO procedures, SOPs, work instructions and quality standards.\nSupervise operators, helpers and contract manpower and ensure proper manpower allocation and discipline.\nCoordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Tooling and Planning teams for smooth production.\nReport and escalate machine breakdowns, process abnormalities and quality issues.\nPrepare and maintain shift production reports, downtime reports, rejection reports and production records.\nEnsure proper 5S, housekeeping and safe working practices in the production area.\nSupport Kaizen, productivity improvement, scrap reduction and cost-reduction activities.\nKey Technical Skills\nAluminium Extrusion
