We are looking to strengthen our capabilities in managing digital lending risks to support our growing portfolio of digital financial products. To this end, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Fraud Risk Analytics Lead to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping and overseeing the risk management strategies for our digital lending platforms, ensuring that we continue to provide secure and effective financial solutions to our customers while mitigating potential risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish fraud detection and prevention frameworks that leverage analytics, machine learning, and behavior insights. \nConduct fraud analytics, including the development of promo abuse risk scoring, creation of fraud rule scenarios, analysis of emerging fraud patterns, and identification of process vulnerabilities.\nDevelop and implement anti-fraud policies and procedures for digital products.\nCollaborate with data science teams to develop fraud detection algorithms.\nCollaborate with product, technology and third-party providers to embed fraud detection mechanism into digital products and customer journeys. \nConduct root cause analysis on confirmed fraud cases to identify vulnerabilities and implement control measures. \nWork closely with internal teams such as fraud investigator, product, technology, credit risk, data science and compliance to ensure fraud controls are integrated into all digital products and partnerships. \nLead initiatives to automate and streamline fraud monitoring processes, improving efficiency and accuracy. \nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field are a plus.\n7+ years’ experience in fraud risk management, preferably within digital lending, embedded finance, banking, and fintech.\nStrong in Data Analytics, good knowledge in query and SQL.\nStrong knowledge of fraud detection tools and e-money/ e-wallet security system.\nStrong knowledge of fraud patterns, fraud rules, and fraud analytics.\nProven track record in developing and managing risk frameworks for digital products, digital loans and embedded finance. \nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and external partners\nAt Amartha, we are dedicated to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, ensures equity, and fosters inclusion.
