This role ensures that AI servers, GPU-based systems, storage systems, and data center solutions meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.\nDevelop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001, coordinate audits and management review inputs, and drive closure of audit findings\nAct as the primary point of contact for assigned customer quality issues and escalations, providing clear technical updates and tracking actions through closure\nPartner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and global quality teams to resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle\nLead hardware failure investigations and root cause analysis using inspection findings, test logs, technical specifications, and supplier failure analysis reports\nDrive containment and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), prepare and review 8D reports, and verify corrective action effectiveness\nConduct supplier audits, review supplier failure analysis and corrective actions, and drive timely resolution of recurring defects and quality escapes\nManage nonconforming material controls, traceability, and RMA disposition with engineering, supply chain, and suppliers\nSupport new product introduction and component, firmware, or packaging changes by reviewing quality risks and inspection or validation requirements\nCoordinate product certification and compliance documentation with customers, suppliers, and test laboratories to meet customer specifications and applicable industry standards\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to quality engineers, operators, and manufacturing teams, promoting quality and accountability\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field \n5-7 years of experience in quality engineering within hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments\nStrong knowledge of QMS requirements, ISO 9001, and internal audit practices\nHands-on experience with failure analysis, root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone), and corrective action verification\nFamiliarity with server, storage, or similar hardware manufacturing, and system-level testing\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, component specifications, and test data to assess defects and support disposition decisions\nStrong communication and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage customer and supplier escalations and multiple priorities independently\nPreferred:\nExperience with AI/HPC systems, GPU servers, rack integration, or liquid cooling systems\nExperience with supplier audits, supplier qualification, product change reviews, and global quality coordination\nCertifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)\nFamiliarity with product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance requirements such as CE, FCC, CB, NRTL, and RoHS\nExperience supporting third party audits or customer-specific compliance programs\nThe salary range offered for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s experience and skill set.\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance\nFlexible spending account \nHealth savings account\n401k match \nCommuter benefits\nLife and Accidental Insurance\nShort- and Long-term Disability Insurance\nWe also have a perfect location for all types of commuters: AMAX is located right between I-680 and I-880.
