This role is critical in ensuring the highest product quality standards and driving continuous improvement for our products. The role includes responsibilities in acoustic system design, audio platform and circuitry design, and audio quality tuning.\nKey job responsibilities\nAudio component evaluation and acoustic simulation, collaborating with ID/ME cross-functional teams at the architecture stage.\nAudio component/acoustic design validation and reliability confirmation.\nSound quality tuning, validation, and verification for products such as smart home and surveillance camera systems.\nAudio new platform bring-up, validation, and testing.\nDesign test matrix items and define criteria for internal manufacturing/CM.\nSupport manufacturing audio test validation and troubleshooting.\nConduct audio analysis to quantify sound quality.\nDevelop general-purpose audio modules/libraries for test utility (design/factory) integration.\nNew audio software algorithm evaluation, integration, and validation.\nBasic qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent\n- 5+ years experience of Audio hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.\n- Hands-on experience in audio quality validation for mobile phones, surveillance camera, laptops, or smart speakers.\n- Experience with Audio circuitry validation and PCBA evaluation.\n- Prior experience with audio test tools like Audio Precision, Soundcheck, and ACQUA.\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience with building high volume consumer IoT products.\n- Experience with audio signal processing, Audio component characteristic, DSP algorithms, and Audio tuning.\n- Experience with test strategy design for automated functional and system testing\n- Experience using scripting languages, such as Matlab or Python\n- Have knowledge of Audio circuitry design can be a plus but not essential\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
