This role is responsible for creating and maintaining Work Order Templates (WOTs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and all associated build documentation to the highest standards in quality, accuracy to design, and efficiency.\nWorking in a hybrid environment-approximately 50-60% engineering workspace and 40-50% production floor-the Process ME bridges the gap between design engineering intent and manufacturing execution. This engineer leads Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, identifies design-to-manufacturing gaps during NPI phases, and partners with Responsible Engineers to evaluate manufacturability tradeoffs.\nQuality ownership is a critical dimension of this role. The Process ME owns Non-Conformance (NC) trend analysis, facilitates Leo Quality Review (LQR) meetings, and leads root cause investigations using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D to drive systemic corrective actions.\nThis engineer also leads rate readiness efforts through time studies, capacity analyses, and labor standard setting. They drive Kaizen events, develop build strategies for rate scale-up milestones, and remove systemic flow constraints. SAP/MES data integrity-including mBOM accuracy and production versions-falls within their ownership.
