This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence by managing the procurement of non-inventory goods and services across our AMZL network.\nYou will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle including planning, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor performance. Your leadership and analytical capabilities will help identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance the reliability and efficiency of procurement activities across multiple delivery stations.\nKey job responsibilities\n- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for non-inventory goods and services required by the AMZL network, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relationship management.\n- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for supplier management and procurement efficiency, producing regular reports to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.\n- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and AMZL leadership to understand and achieve budgetary targets and operational objectives.\n- Foster strong, strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with Amazon’s standards, secure the best terms, and innovate procurement solutions.\n- Act as a primary contact for resolving any procurement-related issues, including discrepancies in inventory, delivery challenges, and payment to suppliers.\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT or any other procurement related career\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups\nAcknowledgement of country:\nIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
