In this role, you'll be the technical expert for developers and advertising partners integrating with the Amazon Ads API - troubleshooting complex integration issues, debugging API behavior, and driving root-cause resolution. You'll also serve as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for a portfolio of key partners, owning those relationships end-to-end and proactively guiding them toward successful, scalable integrations.\nThis is a hybrid role that blends technical depth with meaningful account ownership. It's ideal for someone who is a fast learner and enjoys solving hard technical problems while being the trusted technical partner that customers rely on. \nKey job responsibilities\nAs a Developer Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\n- Providing support directly to developers using the Amazon Advertising API\n- Writing code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community\n- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive timely customer communication during critical events\n- Contributing to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles\n- Owning the technical relationship for a portfolio of key API partners, serving as their primary point of contact\n- Proactively monitoring partner health, anticipating risks, and driving resolution before issues escalate\n- Building trusted, long-term relationships and representing the voice of the customer internally\nBasic qualifications\n- 3+ years of software development, or 3+ years of technical support experience\n- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems\n- Experience working with REST API based services\n- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)\n- Experience with data analysis and SQL\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience with web-based applications and HTTP\n- Experience as a technical specialist in customer-facing roles\n- Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)\n- Experience working with AWS Services\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
