# Audio Systems Engineering Manager, Audio Hardware Technology

Our team focuses on developing world class audio product solutions and technologies for our Echo speakers and products, Fire TVs, and Alexa tablets, and we research and develop cutting edge technological solutions for hard-to-solve audio engineering problems. In this role, you will guide and mentor experienced audio systems engineers, and build up team capabilities and development processes. Key job responsibilities Manage experienced acoustic engineers in Sunnyvale CA and Bellevue WA. Manage resource allocation for projects. Provide experienced technical mentoring to engineers to solve hard technical problems. Manage lab facilities. Grow the team technically, and grow capabilities for predictive design (computer modeling) and design verification (measurements). Manage expenditures against budget. Manage R&D projects and efforts that will maintain our world-class standing in terms of audio product performance. Make sure that the products we deliver to customers correctly reproduce artists' intent. Work with our suppliers to understand and improve their capabilities to build our products.
