BI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end BI solutions within the Google environment (BigQuery and Looker), covering the full lifecycle from solution design and development to testing and production deployment.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including defining data models, establishing relationships between data entities, and incorporating business logic into the analytical layer.
• Provide ongoing BI support to the Finance department, including preparation of monthly reports, ad hoc analyses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support BI solutions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a BI developer, with expert-level proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Looker and dbt is mandatory.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proven ability to translate complex BI requirements into manageable technical tasks, spanning the process from data sourcing to final report.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing detailed reports.
• An open-minded, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learner with a readiness to embrace modern technologies and adapt to new challenges.
• Advanced analytical capabilities, effective multitasking skills, and a strong aptitude for creative problem-solving.

Not necessary but a great advantage:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with AI tools.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge and understanding of the payments industry.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/information systems or equivalent.
