The role has potential to build Amazon Ultra-Fast-Grocery (UFG) Retail business from scratch define SOP for scaling the business on long term. \nSupport Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization\nNegotiations- Build strategic partnership align and close aend to end vendor relationship and terms of trade operating model contracts from long shelf-life Fresh & Frozen vendors (F&V Dairy Poultry Ice-cream etc.) \nBuild the annual seasonal portfolio to drive continuous traffic and engagement to the store-front \nEngage with global partner teams to bring best practices across globe to AE UFG channels\nIdentify automation opportunities to offer scalable solutions improve all key inputs metrics such as Selection profitability Pricing Availability\nPost launches Own the P&L for hitting top and bottom-line targets and drive projects to improve profitability with critical stakeholders (Vendor Ops Advertising)\nDefine selection assortment continuously refine the mix at dark store level to reduce shrinkages & improve CX\nSource deals during Tier 1 & Tier 2 events to ensure we continue to offer value to our Prime Customers\nEnsure content quality is best in class to improve conversion\nNegotiate marketing funds from vendors for category visibility during BAU/Events. \nPrepare Pitch & close Annual JBP with vendors. \nMBR / QBR with vendors on performance & improvement\nPartner with Retail Category team to ensure UFG ask is part of Annual Retail JBP for common vendors \nA day in the life\nThis is a startup role and require you to deal with high level of ambiguity. \n- Bachelors degree in enginnering or equivalent or 5 years of vendor management experience\n- 5 years of relationship management and negotiation experience\n- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders C-level executives and cross-functional teams\n- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or a related field\n- Experience in vendor negotiations pricing and promotion inventory management and product development\n- Experience with data analysis and basic Excel skills\n- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields\n- Knowledge of data analytics with tools such as Tableau SQL Quick-sight\n- Masters degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
