If you're a curious, collaborative engineer who thrives on solving real-world problems at scale, we'd love to hear from you.\nKey job responsibilities\nSystems Analysis \n- Reviewing design documentation, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations against project requirements\n- Provide recommendations and feedbacks on design, equipment selection, commissioning documentations, maintainability, construct-ability and commission-ability.\nSystems Validation \n- Verify the system’s performance, including establishing acceptance criteria, review and discuss deficiencies.\n- Assist in as-built documentation and review for accuracy and completeness. \n- Assess the capability of commissioned systems to match the design. \nProject Management \n- Manage safety, quality, schedule and cost in the commissioning of critical infrastructure.\n- Communicate deficiencies and impact to project schedule timely and concisely tailored to different audiences.\n- Develop commissioning schedule and plans. \n- Ability to work on concurrent projects within or across geographical locations. \n- Managing external vendors and their performances.\n- Managing stakeholders and dealing with ambiguous situations.\nAbout the team\nAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Our electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers, project managers, operators, and analysts provide rigorous engineering and operational review and testing of designs, equipment, and construction practices across APAC. \nWe bridge the gap between what a design requires and what operations need. Our continual innovation draws on the bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and passionate voices our teams bring to everything we do.\nBasic qualifications\n- 7+ years of commissioning experience\n- 7+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience\n- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering\n- Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects\n- Experience in vendor management\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience in construction of data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing facility builds\n- Experience in stakeholder management and communication management\n- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
