You can take complicated, technical subject matter, form a point of view on it, and turn it into a sharp, well-written narrative that gets the idea across. \nThis role works closely with people across the company - Communications, Legal, Investor Relations, Finance, and more. \nKey job responsibilities\nOwn the governance communications strategy end to end - build it, run it, and report on how it’s going. \nShape how Amazon talks about its legal and corporate governance work. You’ll weigh in on strategy for public-facing materials, handle media inquiries, monitor and understand how media is covering Amazon, and write content. \nLead communications on Amazon’s annual regulatory filings - the proxy, the shareholder letter, etc. You’ll work closely with legal and Investor Relations, owning the comms plan, advising on content, writing content, and managing media inquiries and coverage. \nHelp plan and run the annual shareholder meeting. You’ll manage logistics, own media attendance, team up with Executive Communications to prep our leaders, and field media inquiries and coverage. \nManage external speaking engagements for the Legal team. \nPartner with Financial Communications on financial filings, such as quarterly and annual earnings, especially as they relate to legal filings. \nStay curious about AI and bring a working knowledge of AI tools to your work.\nAbout the team\nOur communications team is dedicated to telling Amazon's story with clarity, creativity, and purpose. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
