You will play a critical role in shaping how our associates and employees experience Amazon as an employer of choice.\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love storytelling, and are passionate about creating meaningful connections between leadership and frontline teams-this role is for you.\nKey job responsibilities\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan for Amazon India Operations\nExecute internal communications plans for new programs, policies, organizational changes, and operational updates\nManage communication channels and monitor channel performance through data and metrics\nProactively identify emerging topics, trends, and issues, developing timely communication plans in response\nPartner with stakeholders at operation sites to facilitate execution of internal communications during issues, crises, and critical business moments\nCollaborate with translation agencies to ensure all communication materials are accurately and appropriately localized for associates across the region\nActively integrate Amazon's core business values, Leadership Principles, and strategic initiatives into everyday communications\nContinuously identify opportunities to Invent and Simplify, creating scalable mechanisms and consistent communication experiences for employees About the team The Operations Internal Communications (OIC) team informs and inspires Amazon's global Operations workforce. We deliver strategic communications that help employees stay connected, engaged, and proud to be Amazonians. Our team focuses on four key areas: - Supporting business goals through strategic counsel and timely updates - Building pride through employee-centered storytelling - Providing communications support during urgent and emerging situations - Helping employees understand their safety, pay, benefits, and career opportunities Through targeted content across our internal channels, we ensure the people who deliver for Amazon's customers feel connected to our mission and each other.\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience\n- Bachelor's degree\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field\n- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience\n- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\n- Exemplary written and oral communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences\n- Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies (including radio, digital screens and mobile apps) and for multilingual audiences (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada)\nPreferred qualifications\n- Master's degree in communications or equivalent\n- Experience relevant experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment\n- Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising, or experience in an operational role\n- Experience working with global cross-functional teams\n- Experience handling agencies and managing multiple stakeholders\n- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
