This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with external partners in developing and implementing comprehensive compliance frameworks that ensure Amazon Now facilities meet all building codes and operational regulations. Key responsibilities include establishing compliance protocols, maintaining regulatory documentation, coordinating with authorities, and providing strategic guidance to ensure continuous operational compliance. \nKey job responsibilities\nManage engineering compliance throughout all project stages from initiation to operation.\nDevelop and implement engineering compliance frameworks that align with regional regulatory requirements.\nReview technical drawings and engineering solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.\nManage continuous improvement in engineering compliance processes and controls.\nProvide expert guidance on technical compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities regarding technical compliance matters.\nManage technical compliance audits and assessments in collaboration with internal cross functional business functions.\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience\n- Experience handling confidential information\n- 5+ years of program or project management experience\nPreferred qualifications\n- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience\n- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
