Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

We are currently seeking an experienced Content Acquisition Manager to join our US Content Acquisition team, focused on licensing content from all of the world's largest studios.

  • Analyze data on customer behavior, usage and consumption to provide insights that inform decision-making for content acquisition and help identify new content genres for customers.
  • Internally, contribute to content acquisition plans, financial metrics, and goals for senior management by providing analytical support and performance tracking.
  • Externally, help establish and maintain strong relationships with content providers
  • Develop a deep understanding of financial analysis, content performance forecasting, and technical requirements for video uploads and delivery to lead deal evaluation and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across all functional areas within Prime Video to support content strategies and execute content licensing agreements (e.g., legal, finance, marketing, etc.).
