They will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and with an \nability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The complexity of research and skills for the position is well beyond \nbasic data entry and research. It involves complex analysis and diving deep into key metrics based on requests, building and \nmaintaining multiple databases, extensive knowledge of software applications to create tools, and understanding of multiple \nprogramming languages and data querying tools. \nKey job responsibilities\nData Collection and Reporting \nDevelopment of data collection processes and data management systems. \nMaintenance of data integrity (0% error rate). \nDesign queries, compile data, and generate reports in SQL and Excel. \nChart and graph data for reporting purposes. \nComplete daily and weekly SOX reporting as assigned; document findings and identify escalations. \nDevelop and maintain regular SQL reporting as requested by leadership using the Amazon data warehouse. Analysis and Problem Solving \nLead root cause analysis for quality defects through data mining, trend analysis, and statistical modeling. \nProvide analytical support for ACES initiatives and process improvement projects. \nConduct in-depth research of defect trends and perform root cause analysis. \nData mining and problem solving to identify process gaps and opportunities. \nPresent analysis in easily digestible standard reports. \nWork with quality leadership to improve standards and identify defects in the operation. Operations Support \nWork in-path, performing associate and leadership tasks to identify data-driven solutions and automations. \nDevelop automation solutions for analysis using Python or similar tools. \nTeach leadership team how to interpret data trends as needed. \nSupport ICQA and Learning Team projects and any other priority requests as senior leadership assigns. \nBack up for ICQA Process Assistant duties as needed.\nBasic qualifications\n- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience\n- 1+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience\n- High school diploma, or equivalent\n- Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays\n- Work 40 hours a week\n- Experience with SQL and advanced Excel\n- Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement\nPreferred qualifications\n- 1+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience\n- Experience with end-to-end project management\n- Experience working with agile development methodologies\n- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools\n- Familiarity with Amazon data warehouse systems (Redshift, S3, AWS Glue).\n- Prior experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse environment.\n- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.\n- Good communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership based on data findings.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
