You will leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in computer generated speech.\nPosition Responsibilities:\n- Research and implement novel Machine/Deep Learning approaches which add value to Amazon\n- Lead and Mentor junior engineers and scientists\n- Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data-driven models and analytical solutions for spoken language applications\n- Develop and/or apply statistical modelling methods (e.g. deep neural networks), optimizations, and other ML techniques to different applications in spoken language engineering\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language\n- Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code\n- Have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
