When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure\n- 5+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience\n- 2+ years of experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS with a proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, AWS Migration Services etc)\n- Experience leading application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with AI and automation\n- Experience leveraging agentic coding tools (Kiro, Claude Code, Codex or similar) to accelerate infrastructure automation, code generation, and documentation\n- Experience of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of: Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Swift.\n- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)\nPreferred qualifications\n- AWS Professional level certification\n- Demonstrated migration and modernization strategy development (6Rs) and implementation\n- Demonstrated hands-on experience modernizing complex enterprise applications\n- Demonstrated hands-on experience building sophisticated cloud native applications\n- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)\n- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\n- Proven ability to lead software engineering best practices across testing, source control, code reviews, and deployment/release management processes\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
