You will join cross-functional stand-ups with Last Mile operations, delivery station teams, and DSP partners to stay aligned on priorities and surface any blockers early.\nA big part of your day involves driving change management. You will assess operational readiness for upcoming changes, engage stakeholders to evaluate risks, and coordinate approval workflows. You will also build communication plans and develop networks of change champions who help make transitions smoother on the ground.\nIn the afternoon, you might deep-dive into data to set up quantitative success metrics for a new initiative, prepare a business state report for senior leadership, or coach a junior team member through a complex stakeholder conversation. Collaboration happens in both Japanese and English, so you will regularly switch between the two as you work with local DSP partners and global teams.\nNo two days are the same. If you enjoy leading change in a fast-moving logistics environment and turning ambiguity into clear, measurable outcomes, this role will keep you energized.\nAbout the team\nWe are the JP AMXL Program Management team, a small but high-impact group embedded within Amazon's Last Mile organization in Japan. Our team currently has three members (including the manager), and we take pride in punching above our weight. Every person on this team has real ownership and visibility into the work they do.\nOur scope covers a wide range of programs that directly shape the DSP experience in Japan, including DSP engagement, special projects, program implementation, PMO support across Super Regions, pricing, and compliance. We work at the intersection of operations and strategy, turning complex challenges into structured, scalable solutions.\nWhat makes this team unique is the breadth of exposure you get. You will collaborate with delivery station teams, DSP partners, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior leadership on a regular basis. If you are looking for a place where your work matters from day one and you want to grow alongside a supportive, driven team, we would love to welcome you.\nBasic qualifications\n- 3+ years of program or project management experience\n- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience\n- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience\n- Bachelor's degree\n- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)\n- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements\n- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese\n- Speak, write, and read fluently in English\nPreferred qualifications\n- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience\n- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience\n- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization\n- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
