production deployment.\nPartner closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.\nEstablish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.\nReview system architecture and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.\nConduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.\nMonitor sprint execution, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.\nParticipate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions.\nManage engineering capacity planning, resource allocation, and hiring activities.\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.\nDrive operational excellence by monitoring system reliability, availability, and performance.\nEnsure compliance with security, privacy, and engineering quality standards.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n8-12+ years of software engineering experience.\n2-5 years of experience managing engineering teams.\nStrong hands-on experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go (Golang)\nExperience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.\nExperience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nStrong knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExcellent understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience leading product engineering teams in high-growth startups or product companies.\nExperience with AI/ML-driven products is an advantage.\nKnowledge of system design, scalability, observability, and performance optimisation.\nExperience hiring and building engineering teams from the ground up.\nExposure to DevOps, SRE, and
