You will own features end to end, from writing design documents and reviewing code to launching and supporting them in production. You will work closely with product managers, technical program managers, and other engineers to turn customer and partner needs into clear technical solutions. You will take part in on-call rotations, investigate operational issues, and improve the monitoring, reliability, and performance of your services. You will contribute to the team's engineering standards through code reviews and mentoring of junior engineers, and you will explore new approaches, including AI-driven and agentic shopping interactions, that make procurement faster and more automated.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience\n 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience\n 3+ years of building complex software systems experience\n Experience programming with at least one software programming language\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience\n Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
