Join us and help accelerate the financial momentum behind our success!\nKey job responsibilities\nDrive core accounting operations, including month-end closing, financial reporting, and the management of external audits across multiple frameworks with accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. \nTransform accounting data into actionable insights that drive innovation. \nIdentify, develop, and implement scalable process improvements using automation and AI-powered tools. \nCollaborate globally with internal Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams, external business partners, and other departments such as Tax and Statutory Compliance. \nLead and deliver complex, large-scale projects in a fast-moving, international, high-growth environment. \nContinuously enhance your skills by working with advanced finance technologies and global best practices. About the team Finance and Global Business Services\nBasic qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles\n- Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities\n- Speak, write, and read fluently in English\n- Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures\n- Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments\n- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions\n- Knowledge of SOX methodology and associated standards (sections 302, 404, AS5, PCAOB, etc.)\nPreferred qualifications\n- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)\n- Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)\n- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
