The role partners with Procurement on rate card negotiations with third-party warehousing partners and provides the financial analysis behind each negotiation and commercial decision.\nKey job responsibilities\nResponsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting models for the first mile 3P network\nPartner with teams across Operations and Procurement to drive cost out initiatives and optimal cross functional decisions that maximize Amazon's long-term free cash flow \nOwn rate card structures and provide the financial analysis behind partner negotiations and commercial decisions, including reviewing contracts for commercial terms and cost exposure before they are entered into \nOwn the month-end close (MEC) for the first mile 3P network - including partner requisitions and POs, and controls over partner billing \nPartner with Procurement to drive YoY cost optimization through rate card negotiations with third-party warehousing partners \nDevelop and maintain key reporting metrics and review mechanisms for the segment \nDrive adoption of AI and automation to reduce manual effort across planning, close, and reporting About the team Operations is at the heart of what we do at Amazon, delivering hundreds of thousands of items each day.
